The Final V12

The end of the V12 era is near. June 2022 will mark the end of production of BMW’s legendary V12 engine. To mark the occasion, BMW will be producing a n exclusive BMW M760i Final V12 edition. Limited to the final 12 M760i’s to roll off the assembly line, these will forever hold a historic place in BMW lore. 

The Final V12

The first BMW V12 was introduced in 1987 in the 750iL. It produced 295 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The effortless thrust provided by this naturally aspirated powerhouse became the standard by which all other luxury sedans were judged by. 

The V12 found the 2022 BMW M760i produces a staggering 601 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Modern technology such as BMW M TwinPower Turbo and Double VANOS Valvetronic make this version an efficient workhorse. The sprint from 0-60 happens in the blink of an eye at 3.6 seconds. 

The Final V12 M760i’s will be truly one-of-a-kind vehicles. A bold “V12” icon at the rear separates it from other 7 Series models. Special 20-inch Style 760M wheels are painted in customer’s choice of Window Grey or Jet Black. Door sills are adorned with “THE FINAL V12” threshold plates, as is the engine cover of the almighty 12-cylinder engine. A console mounted plaque commemorates each vehicle as “1 OF 12”. 

Each Final V12 will be offered fully-equipped as standard with Driving Assistance Professional Package, Luxury Rear Seating Package, Panoramic Sky Lounge LED Roof, Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight, and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound Audio System. To make each vehicle a personal statement, customers will have their choice from over eighty exterior colors and several tones of Full Merino leather from BMW Individual. 

Customers with a history of V12 7 Series ownership will be approached first for the opportunity to own one of these ultra-rare vehicles. Production starts in June 2022 with deliveries expected in July.
