The All-New BMW M3 CS

BMW has taken the legendary performance of the M3 and tuned it to 11. The 2023 BMW M3 CS features more power and less weight, putting the benchmark performance sedan that much further ahead of the competition.

The heart of the new M3 CS is its race-developed engine. Using components from the DTM championship winning M4 GT3, this 3.0 liter straight-six features various upgrades that add up to a 40 horsepower increase over the M3 Competition. Peak power now sits at 543 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. All that power is fed through an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission to the M xDrive drivetrain with Active M Differential. Working together, all this technology allows the M3 CS to accelerate from 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 188 mph.

The CS theme continues with extensive use of lightweight materials. Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic is found not only on the roof, but also on the bonnet, front splitter, front air intakes, exterior mirror caps, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. M Carbon bucket seats as well as the use of titanium in the exhaust system further reduce weight for a total savings of over 20 kilograms over the M3 Competition Sedan with M xDrive.

Drivers will instantly recognize the specialness of the M3 CS on first view. Exposed carbon fiber, exclusive Frozen Solid White paint finish, “M3 CS” badging, and bespoke BMW Laserlight headlights that illuminate in yellow all hint at the motorsport heritage to be found in this special edition BMW.

The all-new BMW M3 CS is set to start production in March 2023 with a starting MSRP of $118,700.
