Introducing the All-New 2025 BMW X3: A Masterpiece of Modern Design and Advanced Technology
BMW has unveiled the highly anticipated fourth generation of the BMW X3, set to launch worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2024. This new iteration continues the legacy of the popular premium midsize Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), enhancing its appeal with a fresh exterior design, a sophisticated interior, and cutting-edge technology.

Striking New Design and Enhanced Performance
The 2025 BMW X3 features a bold new design language that emphasizes its dynamic proportions. The vehicle is slightly larger than its predecessor, with a length of 187.2 inches and a width of 75.6 inches, giving it a more commanding presence on the road. The new kidney grille, updated LED headlights, and distinctive side skirts contribute to its modern, sporty look.
Under the hood, the X3 offers both four-cylinder and six-cylinder engine options, now equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology for improved efficiency and performance. The BMW X3 30 xDrive, powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine, delivers 255 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just six seconds. The high-performance BMW X3 M50 xDrive boasts a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with 393 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque, offering an exhilarating driving experience.
Luxurious and Tech-Savvy Interior
Inside, the new BMW X3 exudes a premium ambiance with high-quality materials and advanced digital features. The cabin is equipped with the BMW Curved Display and the latest iDrive 9 system, offering an intuitive user interface for controlling various vehicle functions. The redesigned interior includes heated sport seats as standard, and options for upscale materials like Extended Merino leather and a woven fabric instrument panel made from recycled polyester.
The spacious interior is both functional and versatile, with a luggage capacity that can be expanded from 31.5 cubic feet to 67.1 cubic feet. Advanced driver assistance systems, such as Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assistant, and the new Parking Assistant Professional package, enhance safety and convenience.
Innovative Digital Experience
The new BMW X3 is at the forefront of digital innovation with the introduction of BMW Operating System 9. This system supports a wide range of digital services, including the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which enables natural dialogue between driver and vehicle. The optional BMW Digital Premium package offers additional features like video streaming, in-car gaming, and enhanced navigation with real-time traffic updates.
Built with Sustainability in Mind
Manufactured at the BMW Group Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina, the new X3 is produced using resource-conserving processes, reflecting BMW’s commitment to sustainability. The vehicle’s production also supports a circular economy approach, minimizing environmental impact.
Pricing and Availability
The 2025 BMW X3 30 xDrive starts at $49,500, while the BMW X3 M50 xDrive is priced at $64,100, excluding destination and handling fees.
