The All-New 2023 BMW X1

The 3rd generation of the BMW X1 arrives with modern versatility, the latest safety and technology features, and an unwavering eagerness for adventure and exploration. The compact SAV is better than ever and remains the perfect entry point into the world of BMW X.

The bold exterior of the all-new 2023 BMW X1 belies its rugged character. The larger, almost square kidney grille, standard 18-inch wheels, and LED headlights and taillights accentuate the X1’s athletic presence. The X1 can be further enhanced with the pearl-effect chrome finished xLine Design Package or the performance oriented M Sport Package.

On the inside, X1 drivers are greeted with more space than ever  and the latest BMW technology. The heart of the interior of the all-new X1 is the stunning BMW Curved Display powered by iDrive 8. Standard BMW Live Cockpit Plus includes BMW Personal Assistant, BMW Maps, and four USB-C ports. The new My Modes function allows drivers to easily select between Personal, Sport, and Efficient driving modes. Newly redeveloped seats, available in both standard and optional sport seats, provide enhanced comfort and versatility for road trips.

The 2-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder that powers the 2023 X1 xDrive28i has also been upgraded. This engine now makes 241 horsepower and 296 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a new 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Paired with the standard xDrive system, the 2023 X1 accelerates from 0-60 in just 6.2 seconds.

For the first time, Adaptive M Suspension is available on the X1. This system lowers the ride height by 0.6 inches and includes frequency-selective damping and sport steering. Additionally, the X1 receives near-actuated wheel slip limitation and an integrated braking system. These systems provide enhanced traction and acceleration as well as superb pedal feel and brake performance.

Also available for the first time on the X1 is the optional Driving Assistance Professional package. This camera and radar based system combines steering and lane control assistance as well as Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go.

The 2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i starts at $38,600 and is scheduled to arrive at dealerships at the end of 2022.
