The 2022 BMW ALPINA B8 Gran Coupe

ALPINA expands its premium offerings with the introduction of the 2022 BMW ALPINA B8 Gran Coupe. Performance, dynamics, and comfort combine in an elegant package that is all about exclusivity.

The heart of the B8 is the ALPINA tuned 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8. This engine makes 612 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque and is capable of going from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Optimized turbocharging and cooling systems lead to the superb throttle response that ALPINA is known for. The ALPINA sport exhaust compliments the engine with its nuanced soundtrack. When in COMFORT mode, the engine note remains sophisticated and restrained. Turn to SPORT mode and the engine note comes alive with fury.

The suspension is tuned for balance with first-class long-distance comfort while maintaining precise handling characteristics. The Integral Active Steering plays a big part in this balance. The Active Kinematics Control System allow for the rear axle to pivot wheels opposed to the front axle at low speeds or with the front axle at high speeds for maximum directional stability. The ALPINA B8 also features xDrive and a rear axle limited-slip differential for dynamic handling in a variety of situations. All of this rides on 21” ALPINA wheels with ALPINA brake system.

The exterior of the B8 is highlighted by the exclusive ALPINA Blue Metallic and ALPINA Green Metallic paints. A full range of BMW and BMW Individual paint finishes are also available. The B8 comes well appointed from the factory, with standard Glass Controls, Panoramic Sunroof, Icon Adaptive LED headlights with Laserlight, and Harmon Kardon surround sound system.

The 2022 BMW ALPINA B8 Gran Coupe retails for $139,900 and arrives in store late Spring 2021.
