Uninhibited Performance

Electrification powers the unparalleled performance of the XM. Built as a plug-in hybrid, the XM features a V8 paired with the newly developed M Hybrid drive system for next-gen performance. The combined powertrain produces 740 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque with an all-electric range of up to 30 miles.

Maximum Presence

The progressive design of the Concept XM leads the way for future BMW M vehicle design. The greenhouse rises vertically, drawing attention to the front end. This is further accentuated by the double power domes on the hood. Large, tapered kidney grille’s provide lots of air for the powerful V8 that lurks beneath. The two-tone paint finish emphasizes the distance lines: the long hood, sloping roofline, and angular body panels. The BMW roundels etched into the rear windows pay homage the BMW M1.

The M Lounge

Inside the BMW Concept XM, the driver will find a distinctive M interpretation of driver-focused cockpit design. The BMW Curved Display provides a modern digital presentation centered around the driver. Luxury materials, including brown, vintage-look leather, copper and carbon fiber, pay homage to motorsport design. In contrast to the driver-focused front seats, the broad rear bench forms an inviting space to relax. The visual highlight of the cabin is the three-dimensional prism headliner, complimenting the XM’s blend of luxury, comfort, and exclusivity.
