Los Angeles and Hollywood drivers won’t be surprised to see a higher BMW sedan price for the 2024 BMW 5 Series. Not only has it been revamped for this model year, but it’s also the larger of the two BMW sedans.
When it comes to traditional gasoline-powered engines, both the BMW 3 Series vs. 5 Series start with the same powerful 2.0L TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder engine with the same output: 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
But then there’s the BMW 5 Series electric motor that’s ready to leave the competition in the dust. Hit 355 horsepower with the BMW i5 eDrive40, or thrill to the incredible 593 horsepower the BMW i5 M60 can reach.
For Burbank drivers who long for a sports sedan with extra power, the two BMW 3 Series M models can deliver. The BMW M340i and BMW M340i xDrive both generate 382 horsepower.
The BMW 3 Series is also transitioning to electric power, albeit a bit more slowly. There are two plug-in hybrid models available: the BMW 330e Sedan and BMW 330e xDrive motors, both reaching up to 288 horsepower.
