Does the BMW 2 Series come in manual?

Those interested in the 2017 BMW 2 Series will have the option between the Coupe or the Convertible. Each one offers four trim options with varying performance capabilities. However, all BMW 2 Series models are set standard with an 8-speed sport automatic transmission. There is no manual transmission option available for the BMW 2 Series, but all models include steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The 2017 BMW 2 Series Coupe and Convertible both offer two engine options: 230i and M240i. The 230i models are set with a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder engine that pumps out 248 horsepower. The M240i performance-based models come with a 335-horsepower, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine. Each engine option can be paired with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system for a top-of-the-line performance.

    I’m puzzled. I own a 2017 BMW M240i convertible. It has an accelerator, brake pedal, a clutch pedal and a six speed manual gearbox. Who says it doesn’t come in manual?
