2019 BMW X7 Release Date, Pricing, and Engine Specs

Luxury SUV shoppers will soon be treated to an all-new model: the 2019 BMW X7, which is the largest SUV that BMW has ever built. Along with its cavernous interior, the 2019 BMW X7 boasts excellent performance, impressive towing and off-road capabilities, and the latest technologies that BMW has to offer. The 2019 BMW X7 is slated to arrive at dealerships nationwide in March 2019. The BMW X7 will be offered in two models: the X7 xDrive40i and X7 xDrive50i. The X7 xDrive40i has a starting price of $73,900 MSRP, while the X7 xDrive50i has a starting price of $92,600 MSRP.

2019 BMW X7 Engine Options

The X7 xDrive40i comes equipped with the 3.0L six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, which produces 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, enabling the SUV to go from 0 – 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. The X7 xDrive50 is powered by the 4.4L V8 TwinPower Turbo engine, which churns out 479 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, with a 0 – 60 mph time of only 5.2 seconds. Both engines are paired with the eight-speed Steptronic transmission. The BMW X7 can tow up to 7,500 pounds.

Performance for the BMW X7 is further enhanced by the double-wishbone front suspension, five-link rear suspension, Dynamic Stability Control, Integral Active Steering, and Active Comfort Drive. For optimum traction over challenging terrains and in adverse weather conditions, the BMW X7 comes standard with the xDrive all-wheel drive system. Also, the BMW X7 has many advanced driver assistance technologies, including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Pedestrian Warning with City Collision Mitigation, and Frontal Collision Warning.
