For some drivers, the experience of being behind the wheel is exhilarating. Many of us seek ways to chase the thrill of power and speed, and that comes automatically with a performance-driven vehicle. Our team here at Pacific BMW knows all about performance and the importance of finding the perfect vehicle for the job. BMW models are designed with this in mind, which is why drivers have turned to us for years.

We’re working hard to provide drivers with the information they need to fully understand and explore everything the BMW lineup has to offer. This time around we’re going to shine a light on the BMW Z4. The Z4 Roadster is a two-seat coupe convertible that offers an exciting ride for both the driver and front seat passenger. Since the BMW Z4 Roadster is all about performance, we want to go more in depth as far as the engine options and overall capabilities of the vehicle. As we mentioned above, there are three engine options to choose from. The 28i model is set with a inline 2.0 liter 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that pumps out 240 horsepower. The next model option on the lineup is the 35i, which is an inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Last on the list is the 35is, which is the top-of-the-line performance-driven model to choose from. It’s set with a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that pushes out 335 horsepower.

Another noteworthy feature is the unique sDrive Rear-Wheel-Drive System that enables a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Weight can shift to the rear wheels when the driver accelerates in order to improve overall traction while the front wheels take care of the handling. We’re going to highlight some other features below:

  • Cornering Brake Control system
  • Adaptive M Suspension
  • Retractable hardtop
  • Power-folding, heated side mirrors
  • Rain-sensing windshield wipers
  • BMW Advanced Safety System
